Toffler Scholar Program

Building on a tradition of research since 1867, Howard University has become the first HBCU to partner with the Karen Toffler Charitable Trust — expanding support for scientific investigation at its institution. The College of Medicine at Howard leads the way in examining health disparities among people of color.

The Karen Toffler Charitable Trust connects visionary investors with research projects that tackle humanity’s most pressing health problems. Funds administered through the Toffler Scholars program advance promising medical discoveries. Together, the Trust and its university partners seek lasting positive impact for society.
